As you may be aware, there are a few different mep security Blackberry handsets on the market. In order for you to submit the right security phone in the right section please read the following information:

• You MUST read and supply MEP simlock type where ever possible – this makes it easier and quicker to supply the right code 1st time.
• IMEI starting 980 or with 03 in the 6th and 7th digits of IMEI will be “New Security” and need to be submitted using “Blackberry New Security 1” from the “Blackberry New Security“ menu.
• If the handset is 8520 on T-Mobile UK, Storm2 (9520) or Onyx (9700) on any network then you will need to submit your IMEI using “Blackberry New Security 2” in the “Blackberry New Security” menu.
• Don’t forget to download the MEP READER TOOL

Please be aware that if you submit a code request in the wrong section you will get refunded for the submission, so it is best to make a note of this information and use it to ensure we process your codes as quickly as possible.
